This Lamp is gorgeous and RARE. I've seen two similar , they are white, on first dibs for $1800.00. These were created as the first form of water purification back in France in the mid to late 1900's. This one being the sought after beautiful blue. Hand blown of course. What makes a gasogene structure so rare is that they would so often burst during use! They normally had a rattan or steel mesh that would cover both the lower and upper bubbled structure. Thankfully someone had the sense to preserve this one and create a lamp. I purchased it from a person that bought it in an antique shop on the Coast of Oregon some years ago. It is 6.5" at the base and to the bulb assembly it is just shy of 25" the harp that it came with is a bit crooked and you would probably want a new one but I will include it just the same. With the harp it stands at 35". I am a very experienced glass shipper, shipping a box within a box and I always include shipping in my sale price! Thanks for looking, if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask.
