Antique French 19c Ormolu Brass Frame Female Woman Oil Painting Portrait Mini

This is the most exquisite little antique French miniature oil painting in an equally fabulous ormolu frame. Dating to about 1880, the oil painting is beautifully executed featuring a girl with huge eyes, pink cheeks and a lovely smile. Makes me long for spring! The frame has a decorative brass surround and a stunning laurel garland crest with lovely muted velvet. Adorned with ormolu embellishments, sweet little bow detail, flower garland swag…sigh. In beautiful condition but please examine all pictures - The back of the frame has a little kick stand that doesn’t go back too far and sits perfectly.
