Set of 2 antique prints of 150+ years old offset lithographs. Originally hand - colored from Paxton’s Magazine of Botany published in 1845. Louis van Houtte was both the artist and the lithographer. Pleroma Elegans still vibrant in plums and lilacs. Yellow fringe-leaved Luxemburgia (Luxemburgia Ciliosa). Both prints are aged but not torn. Frames are very inexpensive with intact glass, really just protecting the fragile prints. Re-framing highly recommended! 6 x 8.

Is there any water damage or wrinkling? I Can tell from the photos. Thank you.

@eriebearie both have dark edges I assume from paper age and not having been framed in any sort of archival manner. I really am not familiar with water staining so I can not guarantee they aren’t but can’t say they are either. Rescued from my great aunts estate.
