this item came from my grandmother's house after she passed it was something that I always was in love with I know that it is the average egg I won't say that it's an ostrich egg it is no telling how old and very good shape still it still has all of its decorative things that are on it the only issue with the egg is that on the bottom of the stand that holds it up has felt and one corner of that felt is peeled up once you open the egg it has satin that is covering the inside of the egg and it's just very beautiful
