Antique English Ironstone Transferware Platter ~ John Edwards, "Azalea" Pattern

This beautiful green and white transferware platter is marked "porcelaine de terre" but it looks like an ironstone piece of porcelain rather than earthenware. Lovely dark green floral design with minor remnants of gold. It is 14.25" long and just under 10" wide. There are some "flea bites" on the surface which is typical of pieces that are 120 old or so. There are no chips or cracks, but just light utensil marks. Made in England
