Appraiser: Encyclopedia Britannica originally was published in 1768 appearing initially in Edinburgh,Scotland.As times changed the Americanized Encyclopedia Britannica was introduced to an interested public.Today Encyclopedia Britannica is the gold standard when it comes to general knowledge books with older sets carrying higher values.There are avid collectors of these sets, with complete sets being the most sought out.This set I would define as in exceptional collector condition for its age.
