The central Emerald is surrounded by sparkling hand cut antique diamonds in an elongated marquise shape North to South known as a Navette, the French word for boat. This style of ring was extremely popular in the Victorian and Edwardian jewelry eras.This ring was entirely hand made by a artisan jeweler as evident by the attention to detail and fine finish work; we especially love how low it sits and slightly curves for a perfect fit on the finger. It remains in excellent antique condition and is ready to be worn and admired. The interior of the band is marked 1914, we believe this is the year it was created or gifted. The ring size is small at a 4.5 and is sizable, we would not recommend more than 3 whole sizes larger. The ring is crafted in 18k yellow gold with a platinum top.
