Antique Early Victorian Silver Button Brooch

Fabulous early Victorian Silver Converted Button Brooch with a floral and garden theme. Two round, domed, and hollow silver metal Victorian Buttons are soldered together to create a 1 3/4" x 1" x 5/8" brooch. Each silver button was hand-constructed, therefore an ever-so-slight variation in design. Sometime between 1850-1880, these two buttons were converted into this silver sentiment brooch. Early rollover catch replaced the original C-clasp. 11.6g (212AR-677Z)
