The patina is exquisite: beautiful colors (including bits of green verdigris) that develop only with age. Circa late 19th to very early 20th. Its oval shape is also quite pleasing, with ridged borders and seams that add dimension. The lovely solid brass top with ring screws off so you can fill it with hot water and place between your sheets ahead of bedtime to make your bed is nice and cozy. It does have some dents, as they typically do, which makes it sit a bit askew. Measures 10” long by 6.75” wide by about 5” tall.
