Antique Cinnabar lacquer Ginger Jars - gorgeous color 20th Century

Gorgeous color, very decorative ovoid forms, carved in relief with figures and pavilions, mountains and trees within elaborate borders. The domed covers similarly decorated. Dimensions: 6” H x 5 1/2” W. I am not an expert but from what I've been able to research, I believe they are hand-carved and antique, and the color is exceptional. The domed covers are not removable. They are NOT molded or made of plastic. From a wonderful estate sale. Condition is antique with wear and patina normal for age.
