Antique Chinese Black and Beige Dragon Robe Fragment

Beautiful antique robe fragment. According to the Museum label, it is 19th century and actually satin stitch with voiding to make it appear woven. It notes that the 5-toed dragon is a symbol of the Emperor. The embroidery features a detailed dragon design, along with flaming pearl, clouds and waves. This fragment was for sale in the museum shop at The Dragon Dreams Museum in Chattanooga, TN, which closed permanently in 2016. I purchased the contents last Summer.
