Antique Celery Dish Pre-1890 Pink Green Gold Scalloped

This antique pickle/relish dish, dating back to pre-1890, is a stunning piece of Victorian art pottery. This dish measures 8” long and 3 3/4” wide. It has no markings therefore It was produced before the 1890 McKinley tariff act of 1890 requiring all imported goods to have the country of origin printed on it. The semi-glossy porcelain dish features a scalloped edges and a wide gold gilded edge which shows some wear (please see all photos) The dish has a single compartment, perfect for serving pickles or relish. The dish is in good condition, there is no crazing, chips, cracks or stains but has color loss on the gold edge. It is an original, unmarked piece, and is perfect for collectors of antique decorative cookware and dinnerware. This item is a true gem, with a production style that captures the essence of the late 19th century.
