Antique Betmar Black "merri-soie" Pillbox Hat, Black, circa 1940s/1950s Think Jackie Kennedy Onassis!!! Over-all, this piece is in excellent condition: there is some very slight fraying the bow and on the inside tag (see pic 2 and pic 6), but barely noticeable Not sure of material; feels like maybe wool or acrylic or felt (?) No size listed, but the circumference of the hat is 15" I believe "merri-soie" means "fancy party," but it's been a few years since I studied French! Priced to sell!!!
