Antique Bed Jacket c. 1910-1920s

Authentic handmade embroidered bed jacket from the 1920s. It is fashioned from a terry cloth cotton towel. So bespoke of the fit of garments of the time with open sides that tie with satin ribbons. Satin ribbon also borders the garment. It is kind of a one size fits all but would estimate that it fits a small-medium best. I am a 36" bust and 5' 10" build and it fits comfortably. Would fit a shorter stature better. It has wear to it; there are some small spots and a hole on two of the ties. The fabric is still strong but it's definitely thin and worn. The embroidery is so adorable with two pink florals with tendrils. It has been washed and line dried. Remember, it's basically 100 years old so not perfect but still special in its own way.
