Antique Asian Fish Creel Basket

This attractive, vintage fishing creel from Bali, Indonesia was made from woven split bamboo with wood base and neck, and an attached tightly woven string for hanging. It has a fitted lid and an inner smaller basket which can be pulled out. A creel is generally used for carrying fish. The basket is in great condition.
