Antique Art Nouveau Copper Plated Cast Iron Metal frame Beauty and the Beast This is an absolutely gorgeous Antique Art Nouveau Copper Plated Cast Iron Metal frame with the theme "Beauty and the Beast" The style is 100% Art Nouveau with the flowing, sculpted, cascading vines, ivy leaves and flowers and a bare footed woman draped in fabric gazing at the beast at the top of the piece. The piece is made of heavy cast iron and is copper plated which gives it a shiny copper appearance. There is a metal arm-stand that swings out on the back bottom part of the frame for stand up display. The frame measures approximately 17" high by 12" wide with the interior display area measuring approximately 9" high by 7" wide. The frame is in excellent antique condition and is only missing some secure tabs for picture holding on the back. It is truly a FABULOUS Art Nouveau piece of art in itself.
