Hello again. I'm the same buyer who just messaged you re: the Indian Bejeweled Cuff. Same concerns here: can you pls provide approx size? (i.e. in inches either including or excluding the opened region in the front front -- however, if you do exclude the opened front gap from your measurements, I'd appreciate if you'd provide that info additionally)
MANY THX/MORE ASAP
.

1/?
Good morning to you Diane: hope you're well & many thanks for all your generous efforts (more interesting HX later on bracelet I immediately "grabbed" in a panic full price -- unsure if you're aware, but historically, women all over India -- all ages & castes --
have been wearing these easily accessibe brightly bejeweled cuffs) Am utterly enamored w/ this particularly unique particularly ethnic/Primitive/African....

2/? Before any further discussion re: this extraordinary statement piece Diane, QUICK Q:
FROM A PURELY *SUBJECTIVE* PERSPECTIVE, do you think this cuff would work w/ a very petite at max. 5"-6' wrist, & is this very solid structured cuff at all "malleable" (i.e. can it be slightly adjusted as in cuff just purchased?
MORE VERY SOON/ THX FOR ALL / BEST!

diane824
@mondegreen8789 my wrist is very small but I cannot get it over my hand. I don't think it would work:(
I do have some other slave bracelets that might work. I can list them. The bracelet is metal and not malleable.
I'm going to the post office now to drop off your bracelet.
If by chance you see something on my site, let me know and if I can, I will give you some discount . Ttyl for now.

@diane824 Many THX for prompt honest reply, however I remain confused; the fact you're unable to "fit over your own wrist" bodes well for me: if it's small enough to not slip off my wrist, I'd have no need to adjust nor would I want to as I'm absolutely smitten w/ its "corset like" front opening & beautiful patina etc. Any way you can measure inner & outer portion of cuff (including the front opening/gap) w/ tape measure etc or in any way approximate SZ of cuff?
THX /EAGERLY AWAIT YOUR REPLY

Addendum: to clarify Diane, if this cuff is so small it will barely or just about only fit a 5" delicate wrist, it would be the perfect cuff/size for me: the smaller the cuff size the better!
PMANY THX FOR YOUR ONGOING ASSISTANCE / HOPE TO RCV WORD & CHAT MORE ASAP / BEST --

Hello again Diane, just a very brief follow up note to clarify if need be: if this bronze/metal cuff is so small, there won't be any need for me to attempt to personally "modify" its size or appearance-- I'd prefer to wear it with the gap exposed rather than closed. And if it doesn't fit my tiny delicate wrists, then I don't know for whom it's designed-- unless intended as a child's bracelet.

@mondegreen8789 hi...yes, it actually could be for a child's ankle. It's very small.
I just put another slave bracelet up at Poshmark . I think that bracelet might work for you. Take a look and tell me what you think when you get a chance.

@diane824 1/2 Hello again Diane & many thanks for your ongoing patient prompt assistance: all so greatly appreciated & such a rare luxury "round these parts." (BTW, apolgies for my own delayed reply) Many thanks too for referencing the new listing: I'm extremely eager to study. Nonetheless, I remain fixated on the sculptural style & patina/verdigris of this piece & thus want to clarify...

2/? Hello again, Diane. Just want to clarify somethings may not be obvious to you (& more re: future jewelry "needs" & my "singular" "exotic aesthetic" re: jewelry & fashion/decor in general) First, most critically, if a bracelet /cuff or ankle bracelet has been fashioned to fit various childc(obviously other than a new-born/toddler, that jewelry --rings included -- will almost certainly fit me (e.g. I'm smaller boned & thinner than most pre-pubescent girls!)

@mondegreen8789 my wrist is very small and this is snug on me. I believe it will fit you just like it fits me….snug. It will not fall off your wrist. I’m 95% sure. These bronze slave bracelets cannot be modified. The one you really like is too small. I cannot figure out just who it would fit.
I hope I am not confusing you. Kind regards, Diane

@mondegreen8789 Lisa, unfortunately it will not budge. Maybe you could find a jeweler who would be willing to work with you but that would be tough to find…most jewelers do not work with metal:(
Have a great weekend!

@diane824 1/2 HI D. Hope you've been well, & apologies for this extremely delayed reply (I've been ill & in hospital for months). I'm still interested in this cuff (& other items) but remain unclear re: its ACTUAL TOTAL CIRCUMFERENCE, i.e. INCLUDING THE 2" GAP IN FRONT
Oct 02Reply

mondegreen8789
@diane824 2/2 Hello again D. Last question in order to finally clarify the ACTUAL TOTAL CIRCUMFERENCE of this cuff: can you pls simply tell me very directly: is the CIRCUMFERENCE of the cuff itself a mere 3" & the GAP IN FRONT AN ADDITIONAL 2" ? (i.e. this would mean the TOTAL CIRCUMFERENCE IS ACTUALLY 5" & NOT MERELY 3" b/c the opening gap adds another 2"). THX / LOOK FWD TO HEARING FROM YOU

@diane824 3/3 Apologies Diane: I stated that the former message would be my last, however it just occurred to me to add that the simplest way for you to get a RELIABLE measurement would be to use a seamstress' flexible tape measure (vs. inflexible wood rulers, which tend to provide misleading/unreliable measurements) & wrap it around the interior &/or exterior of the cuff (in my case,
smalller = better) THX!

@mondegreen8789 hi Lisa,
Sorry for the delay. Just a really busy time for me. Trying to get my taxes done before they put me in jail):
I hope you are doing better.
I’m not sure about what you need from me in reference to measurements. I did put up many photos with measurements.
I believe I have some other similar bangles but haven’t had time to list.
