Antique Afghani Red Velvet Dress

Truly STUNNING Vintage Dark Red Silk Velvet Dress, Embellished in Afghanistan, has a Heavily Embroidered Front Panel With Multi-colored Thread. It also has Beautiful Large Embroidery on the Middle of both Sleeves with Small Round Silver Metal Pieces included and surrounded by Embroidery. There is also an inch of Embroidery with Metal Pieces at the bottom of the sleeves. The Bodice is lined in a Beautiful and Unique Red Fabric with Small Various Animals in Green and Yellow. A Red and Blue Woven Wool Belt with Multi-colored Pieces at the bottom Surrounds the Bodice. This dress was a Vintage piece in perfect condition when I bought it in New York in 1971 and has been wore it about 3 times and Stored since the mid 70's. It's in Good Condition with a few age flaws in the front panel of Embroidery but are not really noticeable. Bust ~ 18 inches across or 36 total Length ~ 34 1/2 inches Hips ~ Free
