Antique 1930’s sterling silver (stamped, signed, MM) Lotus Flower ring

Antique 1930’s sterling silver (stamped, signed with makers mark) Lotus Flower openwork band ring. The exquisite detail in this hand carved piece of art is even more breathtaking in person. This ring is made by the Uncas Mfg. Co. It began operations in Providence, Rhode Island in 1911. By the 1950s, Uncas had become the largest manufacturer of costume jewelry rings in the United States. Of if the two earliest hallmarks is a single left facing arrow dissecting the "U" in half horizontally was also used from the 20s.
