Antique 1929 "Shur-Stop" "Automatic Fireman On The Wall" MADE USA 1929 ceiling-mount "shur-stop" fire "grenade" fabricated by the international fire equipment corp., staten island, ny. the "automatic fireman on the wall" was intended to be thrown against burning objects, and thereby broken, releasing a fire extinguishing liquid. Inside the bulb is salt water, and from doing research is fine to ship. Please look at all pictures for condition. The finish if rubbing off a little they are almost 100 years old, overall good condition and can be put on the wall as an awesome Art Deco Piece of history!
