Antique 1927 First 1st Edition “Sails of Gold”, Charles Scribners Sons, Edited

First (1st) edition hardcover antique 1927 story book “Sails of Gold” published by Charles Scribner’s Sons and edited by Lady Cynthia Asquith. Book is a compilation os stories and poems by various authors including the story of Tigger by AA Milne (who had just written this story the year prior). Book has frequent grey-scale illustrations to accompany the story telling and a few full-color plates as well. Size: 10” x 7.75” x 1.5”. 166 pages. Condition: Good antique condition. Cover lettering and color is crisp. The spine has a section of pull-away/ tattering and edges have occasional fraying. The spine inside is a little loose in areas but all pages intact. Pages had mild and consistent tone. Page lettering is bright and images are not faded. All color plates intact. NPK-29(psh)
