Antique 1920's Gold Trim Ashtray from Seligenstadt/Hessen Handpainted Bavaria

This antique ashtray from Seligenstadt Germany is trimmed in gold on white ceramic has a handpainted image of the Kloster Seligenstadt. Seligenstadt is one of the oldest towns in Germany, located in the state of Hessen. The image is that of the Cloister of Seligenstadt which is now a museum. This petite piece measures approximately 3" square and design is art deco with modern lines . in excellent condition with no use as an ashtray, would be a perfect ring holder..
