This is an antique copper spoutless pitcher. The hammed copper jug pot has a copper handle and curled rim. Beautiful age and patina add to character of this timeless decorative piece
This piece is 100% Handmade Late 18th Century 6 plus Quart Large Copper Tavern Pitcher From Colonial Era.. The Condition Is Remarkable! Hardly any Dings / Dents. The Lip Of The Tavern Pitcher Is Rolled, The Handle Has Three Rivets And The Pitcher Is Joined w/ Dovetailing Over And Under The Handle. This Is An Extremely Scarce Colonial Piece, Especially In Extra Fine Condition. The Pitcher Is A Large 6 Quart Capacity Which Filled The Tankards Of Colonialist In A Busy Roadhouse Establishment. The Pitcher Is The Correct Tin Lined And Measures 8 5/8" In Height And 11" At The Widest From The Handle
