A beautiful seated Liberty dime from 1857 engraved with the initials CK, as well as a decorative boarder and small flourishes that look like rain drops coming off the letters. Liberty dimes are 90% silver and were traditionally used to engrave one’s loved one’s initials or names. Very fine engraving. Approx 5/8”. Has scratches/ patina commensurate with age.
