Antique 1800’s Toleware Metal Spice Jar Set.

This antique, metal spice jar set is a true find for the lover of vintage kitchen items. It is so cool, and still usable. This features a role painted metal box with handle and latch front. Inside are six round boxes for spices. I ach has a spice name painted on top. There is Cloves, Cinnamon, Allspice, Nutmeg, Ginger and Mace. They are all intact and all lids work. It is in antique condition with scraped paint and a bit of rust, as it should be for it’s age. The box is painted copper and has all corners intact. Lid lifts easily and latch keeps lid shut. There is scroll tile painting on the top of the box. Handle is intact. Box is 9.5” by 6.5”. Each jar is 3” in diameter and 2.75 inches tall. Boxes are all intact. This is a marvelous antique piece with a great look. It is unusual to find one of these in such good condition.
