Antique 1800s Printed Asymmetric Walking Dress Skirt Bustle Draping Pleats

Antique Victorian Asymmetrical Layered Bustle Skirt with Beautiful gathering/draping/poofs. Fabulous ruching at hip. Vertical box pleated trimming. The printed fabric feels like cotton satin or possibly a silk/silk blend? It is soft, smooth and lightweight with a lovely sheen. Skirt is fully lined. (Feels like muslin.) Trim at train is lined in what feels like a coarser stiffer muslin (this is darker in color than the fabric at interior lining.) I believe this must have been a walking/promenade/house/day skirt. Possibly late 1870s/early 1880s. Pretty amazing condition for its age. Wear/ a couple small holes to interior lining and where skirt closes at reverse (see photos) A couple light marks to reverse skirt. Missing hook at hook and eye enclosure. Overall in very good antique condition. Fabric is strong. Wearable with care. Across waist 11.5” Across hips 21” Front length 41” Back length 43” There is loads of extra fabric here/skirt waist could potentially be taken out to accommodate a larger waist size (definitely at least an inch or two.) There is a sash/panel of fabric at interior which just have been used to tie back/shape the front of the skirt somehow. *Everything is sold as is with no returns.
