Antique 1800's Federal Bell Metal Column Pyramid Beehive Pair of Candlesticks

Introducing a magnificent pair of antique candlesticks from the Federal period, circa 1800-1820. Rare and hard-to-find remarkable pieces of American history. Handsome set adorned with majestic columns nestled on a pyramid base, also known as a beehive base in the antique world. Crafted of bell metal in a rich, golden-bronze tone with sign of patina on the exterior and underside of the candlesticks. The patina denotes the age of the piece and signifies the authenticity of the historical time period. Simply stunning pieces with decadent history and provenance. Displayed proudly in my Grandmother's estate in Saddle River, NJ for several decades. Good condition with wear consistent with the age of the pieces. The bell metal still has a nice sheen. Measures: 9.78" in height and 4" in width across the base.
