Antique 1800s Copper/Brass Over Cast Iron Dog Nutcracker

Beautiful antique dog nutcracker for sale! This nutcracker is likely from the mid-1800s, as the original nutcrackers were not marked. As the mold was sold, later productions had stamped or etched makers, and this one is unmarked. The 4-bolt model is also older than the newer 2-bolt with larger bolts. This nutcracker has a gold color under the patina, so we assume it is either copper or brass over cast iron. We have not cleaned it and have left the original patina. The handle moves smoothly, but there is a small bit of separation at the seam, so please review the pictures carefully. The nutcracker measures 11.5" long x 5.5" tall x 3" wide and weighs over 6 pounds. Please review all pictures carefully and ask any questions before purchasing.
