Antique 100% Silk Rug oriental carpet rug, 2 X 3 Feet, Old Vintage Red Multi

From a smoke free and pet free environment Persian Antique Silk Rug 2x3 ft (without the fringe, fringes is about 3 in. long), hand knotted authentic antique rug in great condition (early 1920s). Inherited from my husband's grand father who was a trader, he used to travel from Switzerland to Asia, Europe and Africa for trading. This unique rug will need to be professionally cleaned. I will leave that up to its new owner. No holes tears rips stains. Even pile. Natural dyes from pomegranate beet indigo and more double tied knots on two foundation layers for generations of use. Very finely knotted upon two foundation layers for a century of use. Natural dyes oxidize over the century giving lighter or darker shades as seen in images, a beautiful affect called 'abrash' by craftsmen. Last 3 photos are from the back of the rug.
