Only 3 cities had a population of one million. Of course, New York was one of them! You’ll Have to guess the other ones. One other city in the state of New York had 800,000. Guess that one too. Only two cities had a population of 400,000+, Baltimore and ??? This fascinating, fun historical artifact comes from official records
of the time by the US Government. BTW, Washington D.C. had only a little in excess of 200,000 inhabitants.
