Anthropologie Velvet Floreat Dress in Dark Olive

This dark olive green velvet dress is beautiful, and the design in the fabric and shape of the dress makes for a very elegant look. It is dark in some settings and light in others because of the nature of how velvet is in low vs. bright light. It is loose and flowy but without being baggy or comprising of too much material. The hem is symmetrical but not just straight across -- it is straight across in front of the shins and tapers down a little on each side of the leg by a few inches. It is lined underneath, which is always a good thing. It is a lovely option for a late afternoon or evening wedding guest dress and looks very pretty with a lightweight shawl if needed for warmth. It has only been worn once and is in great condition. It is an XS Petite, but I recommend a taller than 5'3" and lean build for this dress simply for the length of it.
