Gorgeous, summery "Cissie" hi lo dress by Holding Horses for Anthropologie. Size 6, NWT, only tried on. Lined and 100% cotton. Very slight stain near left armpit I didn't notice until now--possibly makeup from someone else trying it on (see pic). The hot pink and blue embroidery is beautiful!

Would you need to wear a slip under it? Also does it fit true to a size 6?

@mjkermicle it's fully lined, so no, you don't need a slip! The lined part goes all the way down until the hi-lo embroidery on the bottom starts (so like slip length). I am a 6-8 in dresses and it fits perfectly--it zips up the side, so I'd say it might be snug around the bust but would otherwise fit a 4-8 well.

@sheri_cashman it is on the front side of the left arm area. This is new with tags, so that’s why I hadn’t tried to treat it or anything.

@sheri_cashman it’s a bit noticeable, but I think could be easily treated. As I described in the picture, I imagine it might’ve been from somebody trying it on and getting a little makeup or something on it.

@sheri_cashman it’s about 50” shoulder to side hem—it’s a hi-lo design so it’s much shorter in the front—35” top of bodice/neck to bottom hem. I’m a six and it fits wonderfully; I am tall though and I didn’t quite love the length. So hopefully it would work for you!

@sheri_cashman oh dear—I was looking again now and saw a stain on the back of the dress. I’m going to take the post off “for sale” and take the tags off and wash it and treat the stains. Would you like me to tag you when I repost? I’m so sorry. It’s NWT and had just been hanging in my closet, so it must’ve been stains I missed when buying. 😔

I’ve just taken off the tags and applied some stain remover and will wash it later today, then hang to dry. I’ll then amend the post and will tag you, if you’d like!
