lvcuevas @lemorisflinn Hi, what is the street size of this dress? Could you provide measurements please? Bust, waist, hip? And is that a tear/snag in the fabric on the front or is it a wrinkle that can be steamed out?

lvcuevas @lemorisflinn Hey, these measurements don’t really make sense... In US sizing, a standard size 12 typically would mean a bust measurement of around 38 to 40 inches, a waist of 30 to 32 inches, and hips of 41 to 43 inches? I am just wondering if the dress has been altered or taken in? Or if the length has been shortened for a shorter bride? I know wedding dresses often run small and I’m wondering if the measurements have been altered to fit a specific bride?

lemorisflinn @lvcuevas not sure all my dresses come from my mother boutique here so I know some are new some are pre owned so it could have been Tailored I’m not sure. Also I’m a guy so I really don’t know about woman clothing or wedding dresses to be able to tell if it’s been altered or not but if there is a way to tell if it has been resize I can check it out for you just let me know.

lvcuevas @lemorisflinn Thank you for your response. I am still interested. I’m just concerned wondering if it will fit. Could you please measure from the top of the dress (at the shoulder) down to the bottom hem on the front of the dress please? I’m wondering what the length is in inches from the shoulder to the floor. I am tall and worried it may be too short.

lvcuevas @lemorisflinn As for the bust, waist, and hip measurements you can use a soft fabric tape measure and measure the fabric around the dress. A YouTube video search can show you how to measure if you’d like a guide to follow along. 😊

lemorisflinn @lvcuevas I totally did the first measurement wrong after watching YouTube I fully understand now what you wanted I did pip to pit not bust and didn’t going around for the waist and hip area so the measurement are actually double what I wrote

lvcuevas @lemorisflinn Hi, thank you so much for taking the time and putting the effort into measuring. Those measurements all seem like they could possibly work. I think the length should be long enough. I think it’s just a bit of a leap of faith. Can you let me know if there are any other defects apart from the snag in the fabric on the front? Does the zipper work completely fine? Or are there any other issues I should be aware of? :)

lemorisflinn @lvcuevas only the flaws in pictures from what I’ve seen but when I get home I’ll do a video showing it and also if it doesn’t fit you have time to send back and get a refund that way your not taking any risk and you know before the payment process if you want to keep or not.

lvcuevas @lemorisflinn hey there, thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions. I am still interested in the dress. I’ve just done some reading and it says that Poshmark does not allow for returns for sizing/things not fitting. If it doesn’t fit, my only option will be to repost it and try to sell it. I’m just struggling with making the purchase since it’s a bit of a large gamble. Are you open to offers?
