This skirt was featured in the Sept. 1999 issue of the Japanese magazine "Spur." The waist is "23 (but can be "taken out") and the length, "38. It opens at the waist with an "8-long zipper on the side, and has a leather drawstring. It can be part of an ensemble, together with a poncho and gold pant, or bought separately. The fabric is from India, thought I don't know what kind. It has a satiny finish, with a kind of wrinkled texture. The bordering was purchased by Anna at a downtown Los Angeles "jobber." She liked to mix expensive and inexpensive elements in her creations. It was worn for a shoot with the photo shown here, otherwise, has been stored in a bin for decades. Excellent condition. It was sold exclusively at Henri Bendel's on 57th Street in New York City.
My wife Anna Huling, who died in 2024, designed a signature line out of Los Angeles from 1994 to 2004 and then designed lingerie for Honeydew Intimates and streetwear for Material Girl. These are Anna's designs, from her own closet. She was a Rock Star. http:www.instagram.com/annahulingdesigns
