Angela Caputi Giuggiù Fiocchi 6 strand necklace Signed

This is a beautiful vintage necklace by Italian artist Angela Caputi Giuggiu. Ms. Caputi’s work is largely unsigned; however this unique piece happens to have a medallion with her initials. I have confirmed with her representatives that this necklace is indeed one of her creations. Ms. Caputi started her costume jewelry business in Florence in the 1970s. She uses resins made in Italy to craft her work. Ms. Caputi is recognized worldwide, and her jewelry has caught the attention of both Haute Couture stylists and museums. Her jewelry is considered both fashion and art, and has been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (Iris Apfel collection). This necklace has 6 strands of purple, mustard, orange, black and green spherical beads, as well as a black medallion with the artist’s insignia.. This necklace is in excellent condition.
