Ancient Seal Ring Hammered 18Kt Carved Carnelian taglio

Ancient Seal ring with Carnelian Intaglio. Beautiful medieval revival piece, crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with hammered finish. It is mount on top in a bezel, with one oval (27 x 22 x 4 mm) ancient Arabic intaglio seal, carved from natural carnelian. Has a total weight of 17.4 Grams and the actual size is 7.25, sizeable. The top view measurements are 27 mm by 22 mm (1.06 x 0.87 Inches). Note: An intaglio is a recessed image that has been carved into the back of a stone – the reverse of a cameo, which protrudes from the front of the stone. At the turn of the 19th century, a hand-carved semi-precious gem intaglio was a rare and treasured possession. Collateral: They are accompanied by a presentation jewelry box.
