Ancient Coin Replica Earrings Verdigris Patina Gold Frame Wire and Hook Closure I wish I knew more about these beautiful earring but there are no markings. They are well made and look like something from a museum or pulled from a ship wreck! I am assuming they are modern. A coin is held in a frame by 4 thick prongs in a setting with an open back and a wire with hook closure. Note--the wire is thicker than a typical earring finding.
