Anchor Hocking Fire King Large Lidded 2 QT Gay Fad Casserole Dish #448 Fire King by Anchor Hocking. Hand Painted by Gay Fad Studio, Fruit Motif Casserole Dish #448 with handpainted fruits in bright, clear designs on milk glass bowls by Fire King Oven Ware. The large casserole dish is 2 quarts, 10” by 4”. The Gay Fad studio was in Lancaster, Ohio, 1945-62, founded by Fran Taylor. She and her staff hand-painted their designs onto "blank" glassware from various US glassworks, and there are no worn spots on this bowl. Overall excellent condition, with no cracks or breaks but a small chip on the lid interior. Please see all photos and feel free to ask any questions.
