At Ampère, it is important for us not to use real leather. Simply put, we don’t like to harm animals and we care about the wellbeing of our planet. Our designs are all drawn and brainstormed in the heart of downtown LA’s Arts District. We develop countless of prototypes per season but only a few are hand selected by our team. The bags are then sent to production overseas in China where we only collaborate with factories that are in line with our ethos and heavily regulated by our team of specialist and quality control managers. The materials we use are a specialized form of non leather goods, as we call it “Vegan Leather.” The scientific term for this is PU (polyurethane) and/or PVC (polyvinylchloride). In addition to being Vegan, sustainable materials are constantly sourced in design when necessary. Inside pocket with one zip pocket. 2 outside stretch pockets on each end.
