Amethyst multi layer necklace

Amethyst necklace strung on silk cording and knotted between each piece (very detailed). 5 layers of beading come together with a silver clasp. I cant be certain if the clasp is sterling because I cant find a stamp but I have had this necklace for years and it has yet to tarnish so maybe it's not 🤷‍♀️.
