Amethyst Pendant Sterling Silver Necklace

This was a gift. I was told it was an amethyst stone with CZ surrounding stones and sterling silver overlay and brass underlay. Very rich color but I'm concerned that it may not be a genuine amethyst. So please be aware. I have not had it checked out by a jeweler, but for the price, I think it's still good for a nice piece of jewelry. 💜💎
