American Steuben MCM art glass Centerpiece. 10" wide x 4 5/8" wide with no cracks, chips, or restorations. A few tiny non distractive scratches under close examination and of course the expected shelf wear on base as this is an old/heavy piece of glass. Steuben Glass was the premier American glass company founded by Frederick Carder in 1903. It ranked as the world's foremost artisan glass house. Steuben glass was handmade by American craftsmen at the works in Corning NY. Steuben glass was frequently the United States' gift of State to foreign dignitaries.
