The Evergreen Velvet Dress (also known as Molly's Christmas Dress) was introduced to Molly's Collection in 1986 and retired in 2013 with Molly's archival. The matching children's outfit was available, it was phased out around 2000. The original release of the dress did not have white buttons on the front; this was changed in 1994. That makes this dress to belong the 90's era. Around 1988, Pleasant Company created a line of outfits which were Girl-Sized replicas of several of Samantha, Molly and Kirsten's outfits.
