Amazing black vintage hat 1940’s or 50’s

An elegant mid century black wool hat by Sonni of San Francisco in 100% Doeskin felt wool. Made in the USA by Geo W Bollman & Co, circa 1940’s or 50’s. Dramatic yet simple. In excellent vintage condition- it has been living in a hatbox stored away for many years. No holes or marks or signs of wear- just a touch of fraying on the black bengaline bow ends. Delightful.
