Amazing French Couture Raw Silk Prom Dress!

Using the description from the original seller (bought on Etsy and unfortunately it did not fit me). The photos don't do it justice -- this dress is AMAZING!!! Stunning vintage prom dress in layers of lavender and cream raw silk with a boned bodice, full skirt, and built-in crinoline. Made by Arielle d'Hauterives, a Paris-based Belgian haute couture house, and the workmanship is stellar. Beautifully constructed and finished. Fully lined. Back zipper. Most likely dates from the 50s or 80s-does-50s. There is some fading on the lavender silk but because of the iridescent quality of the fabric, this barely shows (see pictures.) The adjustable bra straps have stretched out and will need to be repaired or replaced. This is why I consider this as very good condition instead of excellent. Marked size 38 - note that the model is a Fr 36/38 and the mannequin is a vintage Fr 40 or modern 38. M E A S U R E M E N T S - taken flat, across. Double for hips/waist/bust.
