The dresses that you purchased were women’s sizing. The brands don’t even sell children’s clothing.

I was able to wear both dresses last year when I was a size 12/14. Dress sizing always runs slightly small but my daughter is 11 and they would absolutely fall off of her. They are true womens sizing.
