Allure magazine made its debut in March 1991, packed full of beauty and fashion trends and advice. This issue does not disappoint and is still relevant today. A particularly compelling section for me is The Alluring Faces of Steichen, with black and white portraits from early 20th century of then celebrities Lillian Gish (1923), Marlene Dietrich (1932), et al. Allure went to a digital-only format in January 2023.
