msargent2 @fijian_angel83 hi! I added a picture of the soles on the posting. As for the shape/comfort, washing does not affect the comfort level or sizing. They lift in the front a bit after washing but it is only because the shoe is so flexible and forming. Once you have them on, they flatten and form to your foot.
