reneew80 Wow what a absolute angel you're Rhonda, it's so unbelievably kind of you to do this. Knowing first hand how important these electronics can be for children with an intellectual disability, Autism, etc it melts my heart to see how very kind you're. I wish I could donate thousands of iPads to them, but that's not possible sadly. I commend you for your outstanding & selfless heart & thank you so much. As a mom with a daughter with a pretty severe intellectual disability, I cannot thank you enough!

reneew80 It's such a shame when there's so many devices, services, private schools etc that cannot be utilized by the very children that need them the most unless you're made of money. We have one in our very small town that my daughter would benefit so much from but sadly at 35k (day student) a year it's just not possible. Parents from around the world send their children here with learning difficulty. Just sad it's no use of the less fortunate kids in this very small one red light town😢😔

rhondaroni @reneew80 my daughter has severe autism. She's 8 and is in diapers. She is slowly learning to communicate on the iPad. I am currently in law school with the goal of doing pro bono special education law for low-income families. It's a shame how under-served our special kids are. Thanks for the note!

reneew80 Wow Rhonda, that's absolutely amazing, are you in NY by chance? Lol It'd be nice to know of one nearby just incase ones ever in need. That's great to hear your daughters doing better with the iPad. It'll be much easier I'm sure once she can use it to communicate with you & not have to get frustrated. Our daughter is 13, but developmentally around 9 year old. She also has secondary microcephaly-secondary to anoxia at birth from the cord being wrapped around her neck twice.😢

rhondaroni @reneew80 I'm in Ca. Our little girls are superheroes. They teach people tolerance and acceptance every day. Not too many people can give that to the world! 😊
