Antique Alfred Meakin “Fair Winds” dessert dishes, set of two. Ivory, with brown nautical design: U.S.S. Portsmouth, Canton Port 1830, E Pluribus Unum, and New York Harbor 1830. Stamped on bottom with “Fair Winds, U.S.S. Portsmouth off the Barrier Forts, Canton, Permanent Colors, Made by Alfred Meakin Staffordshire England.” Good antique condition with no apparent chips, cracks or color loss. Light crazing on one bowl and a discolored spot on the other. See photos.
